Define the maintenance scope before signing

Servicing intervals and technical procedures depend on the equipment and manufacturer guidance. A contract should identify the applicable schedule rather than promise the same visit pattern for every installation.

Compare like-for-like maintenance proposals
Compare the agreed work and exclusions as well as the annual price. Check labour, travel, call-outs, consumables, repair authorisation and reporting requirements. Confirm whether the proposal covers one generator or several units.
Emergency response times, supported models and specialist testing are agreed in the written proposal. An AMC does not guarantee uninterrupted power; operational contingency arrangements should suit the site and application.

Are spare parts included in the annual price?

Can I request maintenance for a generator I already own?
Yes, send the details of your existing generator and site. Collins will review the equipment and requirements before confirming a maintenance proposal.
Is emergency support or load-bank testing included?
Include those requirements in your enquiry. Availability, charges and response commitments, including any specialist testing, need to be confirmed in the written scope.
Do you also provide generator rental?
Yes. Generator rental is a separate service. If you need temporary power during planned maintenance, include the load and required dates so availability can be discussed.
